Aberdeen Investments has purchased a residential complex in Karlsruhe, Germany, from Buwog for one of its German real estate special funds.

BUWOG project in Karlsruhe
The project consists of two buildings with 154 apartments and 138 underground parking spaces and is scheduled for completion in 2027.
The development, designed by Florian Krieger Architektur und Städtebau, is located in eastern Karlsruhe and will offer approximately 11,374 m2 of living space, making it one of the region's larger new construction projects. The buildings will be constructed in perimeter block and block formats.
The acquisition, intended for a German real estate special fund managed by Aberdeen Investments, is divided across two plots: Plot C (34 apartments) and the larger Plot D (120 apartments).
Fabian Klingler, CEO of abrdn Investments Germany, said: "The project is expected to prove a significant urban enhancement for eastern Karlsruhe. On the one hand, it will create urgently needed apartments, and on the other, it will complement the existing buildings with modern energy efficiency."
