Accolade Group is investing over €60 mln (CZK 1.4 bn) in the Ústí Region of the Czech Republic through its second joint venture with Garbe Industrial Real Estate.

Garbe Park Klášterec nad Ohří II
This investment will fund the development of Garbe Park Klášterec nad Ohří II, a new industrial park that will provide 55,000 m2 of modern industrial space upon completion. The project is expected to significantly boost the local and national economy, as it primarily employs Czech companies for construction, technology, and services, ensuring most of the investment stays within the country.
Construction on the park has recently begun with the installation of the first hall column. The primary tenant will be Reckitt, a global leader in health, hygiene, and home care products, which has leased most of the initial 35,000 m2 hall. Negotiations are ongoing with other premium tenants for the remaining space.
Garbe Park Klášterec nad Ohří II boasts high technical standards, including 12-meter clear heights and efficient loading access. Its strategic location offers excellent transport links to the D7, D8, D6, and D5 motorways, providing quick access to Germany, particularly Bavaria and Saxony. This makes it an ideal location for businesses connected to the German market, as well as those in logistics, warehousing, light manufacturing, and e-commerce.
The park is also committed to sustainability, featuring LED lighting, EV charging stations, green facades, and rainwater harvesting. The project adheres to strict ESG requirements, EU taxonomy, and BREEAM certification standards from its inception, ensuring an environmentally responsible development and operation.
Milan Kratina, CEO at Accolade, said: "These are precisely the kinds of projects that have a real multiplier effect. They prove that strong regions are the foundation of long-term prosperity and a competitive national economy."
Martin Polák, managing director at Garbe for Central and Eastern Europe, added: "We are pleased that our projects attract investors like Accolade from the very beginning. This follows on from the successful first phase in Klášterec nad Ohří, where we built, fully leased, and recently sold industrial premises. Together with Accolade, this is our second joint venture, the second location, but the first joint development, so I believe the resulting project will become a long-term part of their portfolio."
