PropTech firm aedifion is launching an AI-driven digital building assistant, the company’s founder and CEO Johannes Fütterer told CRE Media Europe at EXPO in Munich.

Johannes Fütterer
The digital building assistant is a chatbot that processes requests and commands in natural language, responding with precise answers or actionable recommendations.
It extends aedifion’s existing cloud platform by adding a central function for more efficient building operations.
The AI assistant supports users in troubleshooting, maintenance and optimisation of technical systems, as well as in comparing multiple buildings within a portfolio.
It accesses operational data, analyses project-specific documents and industry knowledge to provide accurate answers to the questions of technical operators and asset managers.
For example, users can query the current energy savings of a specific building, receive instructions for technical system adjustments, check open tasks within a project, or request guidance on resolving major current issues in a building.
A key feature of the new product is its document database. In addition to live building data, it incorporates operating manuals, planning, and as-built documents, and other project-related materials into the context of user queries.
