AEW Europe acquires logistics asset near Nantes

Global real estate investor AEW Europe has purchased a prime logistics property in Le Bignon, near Nantes, France, for an undisclosed price.

The acquisition, made off-market from 6e Sens Immobilier, involves a newly renovated and expanded 18,677 m2 facility, including offices.
The property is fully leased to a top French parcel delivery company with a weighted average unexpired lease term (WAULT) of 11 years.
The Grade A asset comes with a BREEAM Excellent certification, featuring solar panels on the roof and shaded parking.
Located 16km south of Nantes, it offers excellent access to major road networks (D937, A83, A11), connecting it to the vital Atlantic Corridor, which is crucial for logistics in Western France.
This acquisition adds to AEW Europe's substantial portfolio, which includes 5.9 million m2 in France (logistics, office, retail) and over 6.8 million m2 of logistics space across Europe.
