AEW Europe acquires new logistics warehouse in Germany

Global real estate investor AEW Europe has purchased a brand new, high-quality logistics warehouse in Pfungstadt, Germany, near Frankfurt.

The 10,680 m2 facility, acquired from German developer Ixocon, was completed at the end of 2024.
The entire property is leased long-term to a prominent global transport and logistics company, ensuring a steady, index-linked income. Designed to a high standard with DGNB GOLD certification, the warehouse includes sustainable features like a rooftop solar system, air heat pumps, LED lighting, and electric vehicle charging stations, alongside modern office and communal spaces.
Strategically located in the Rhine-Main region, the asset boasts excellent access to the A67 and A5 motorways, connecting it to the broader Frankfurt metropolitan area, including the international airport and other major cities. Pfungstadt also offers robust public transport links.
This acquisition adds to AEW Europe's expanding German portfolio, which now spans 2.2 mln m2 across logistics, office, retail, and residential properties in major cities like Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Munich.
