AEW Europe has agreed to forward-fund the development of a new Grade A logistics platform in Cavaillon, France, with Faubourg Promotion.

Cavaillon, France - AEW
Upon its expected completion in September 2026, the 21,700 m2 facility will include 1,200 m2 of offices and laboratories, and a 2,000 sqm cold storage area (2°C-8°C). It is fully pre-let to Aroma-Zone, a fast-growing French organic cosmetics company, on a 10-year lease.
The development, undertaken by Faubourg Promotion (IDEC Group), will adhere to high technical and environmental standards, aiming for BREEAM Excellent and BiodiverCity certifications. It will feature heat pumps and photovoltaic panels, with some energy designated for self-consumption.
Strategically located on the A7 corridor near Grand Avignon Metropole, the site is positioned within a key national logistics hub in the Rhône Valley and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
Alexandre Petitpré, executive director, Investments France at AEW Europe, commented: “Forward-funding this new Grade A logistics platform in a key logistics market in France provides diversification while securing long-term, index-linked income from an institutional-grade occupier. There continues to be strong demand for logistics space in established hubs across the French market, particularly in selected micro-locations. The best-in-class specifications, the sustainability credentials of this development, and its prime location align perfectly with our strategy.”
AEW Europe was advised by Etude Monassier, Gide, IREO, ICF-Antea and Elan.
