Amstam and Aaron Group, along with private investors, have purchased the Max & Moore office building in Amsterdam North from Amundi Real Estate.

Max & Moore, Amsterdam - CBRE
This complex, built on private land, offers around 10,000 m² of usable space, including 90 underground parking spots, across two linked buildings. This acquisition significantly enhances their combined property portfolio.
Originally developed by COD | development pioneers and Being, Max & Moore was designed as an "office of the future" emphasising well-being and green features. It's a leader in sustainability, holding a BREEAM-NL 'Excellent' certification and an A++++ energy label. The building achieves a highly efficient, almost "Paris Proof" energy rating thanks to facade-integrated solar panels and a sustainable ATES system. Amstam plans to make further improvements to the complex in the coming months.
The building is leased to a variety of prominent local and international businesses. Currently, 864 m² on the fourth floor of the Max building is available for rent, with units starting from 300 m².
Pim van Eeuwijk, partner at Amstam, said: “Modern organisations place strict demands on their ecological footprint. The fact that Max & Moore is already virtually 'Paris Proof' and minimises CO₂ emissions makes it an extremely future-proof acquisition that aligns perfectly with our sustainable investment vision.”
Daan de Jong, partner at Amstam, added: “The acquisition of Max & Moore aligns seamlessly with our strategy to invest in high-quality and future-proof real estate. The building is located in Buiksloterham, a vibrant district currently transforming rapidly from a former industrial site into a lively, circular, and mixed-use urban area. This is evident from recent developments regarding sales on adjacent properties.”
The buyer was advised by Baker McKenzie, RechtStaete vastgoedadvocaten & belastingadviseurs, Maarschalk|Ligthart Accountants & Belastingadviseurs, Beaufort Transformations and Hollis.
Amundi, CBRE, Taylor Wessing and Sienna Investment Managers advised the seller.
