Anima completes full acquisition of Castello SGR

Italian asset manager Anima Holding has acquired the remaining 20% of Castello SGR from Oaktree Capital Management for €19 mln.

As a result, Castello SGR will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Anima.

This move completes the acquisition that began in February 2023.

Castello SGR is an Italian real estate asset management company, specializing in alternative investments, particularly in luxury hospitality.

Since the initial acquisition, Castello's assets under management have grown significantly, from €3.9 bn to €5.9 bn by May 2026.

The company manages over 90 funds and 400 properties for more than 150 investors.
