Areim acquires light industrial portfolio in Sweden

Nordic fund manager and property owner Areim has completed its largest acquisition to date in the light industrial sector, expanding its presence across Sweden.

The company has acquired a portfolio of 14 properties totalling approximately 72,000 m2 of leasable space from Corem Property Group. These properties are strategically located in key Swedish cities: Stockholm, Gothenburg, Västerås, and Norrköping, marking Areim's first entry into the Norrköping market.

Over the past year, Areim has substantially grown its light industrial holdings in Sweden, increasing its portfolio from approximately 275,000 m2 to about 365,000 m2 of leasable area. The expanded portfolio now encompasses roughly 80 properties situated in key regions, including Greater Stockholm, Uppsala, Gothenburg, Västerås, and Norrköping. This growth also includes a considerable amount of undeveloped land with building rights and ongoing development projects.
