Luxembourg-based real estate company Aroundtown has announced that Jonas Tintelnot will replace Ben David as CFO by the end of the year.

David, who held the role for 17 years, will step down as part of a planned succession.
Tintelnot, formerly deputy CFO for the past three years and previously head of corporate finance and treasury, will take over.
David will remain with the company in an advisory role to ensure a smooth handover.
Earlier in 2025, Timothy Wright was appointed as chief Capital Markets officer, adding to the company's management team. Wright has extensive experience in capital markets and investor relations within the Group.
Ben David said: “It has been a privilege to contribute to Aroundtown’s growth, resilience, and success over nearly two decades as the CFO. I am proud of what we have achieved together and deeply grateful for the trust placed in me by the Board, our shareholders, and our dedicated teams across the Company.”
Frank Roseen, executive director, and Barak Bar-Hen, CEO, added: “We would like to thank Mr. Ben David for his dedication to this Company. With the appointment of Mr. Tintelnot and Mr. Wright to our management, Aroundtown’s senior leadership is well positioned to capture the opportunities to come while retaining our conservative financial profile.”
Aroundtown reported a net profit of €578 mln for the first half of the year, rebounding from a €330 mln loss in the same period last year, alongside a 3% increase in net rental income to €591 mln.
The company has actively addressed industry challenges by reducing debt through the sale of non-core properties at favorable prices. As the market improves, Aroundtown is prepared to pursue both internal and external growth opportunities. Internal growth will be driven by repositioning initiatives involving hotels, office conversions, and high-yield capital expenditure investments. The company's strong liquidity and reduced leverage also provide the capacity to pursue external growth opportunities that add value, further supported by capital recycling.
