AXA IM Alts expands logistics portfolio with major Dutch acquisition

Global alternative investment manager AXA IM Alts has expanded its logistics portfolio by acquiring a 61,000 m2 logistics centre in Bleiswijk, Netherlands.

This deal is one of their largest logistics acquisitions in the country.
The logistics centre, built in December 2020 and fully leased, features high-quality warehouse and office space. It boasts a strategic location within the Randstad region, providing excellent access to major cities like Rotterdam, The Hague, and Utrecht, as well as key motorways and multimodal transport options, making it ideal for both national and international distribution.
In line with AXA IM Alts' commitment to sustainable real estate, the facility holds a BREEAM Outstanding certification and incorporates rooftop solar panels and heat pump systems. 
This acquisition strengthens AXA IM Alts' €9 bn global logistics portfolio and increases its presence in the robust Dutch market, which is known for strong fundamentals and limited supply.
