Global real estate investment manager Barings has sold a brand-new, high-quality logistics warehouse in San Giorgio Bigarello, Italy.

The buyer is a German asset manager, and the sale was made on behalf of one of Barings' investment funds. This transaction successfully concludes Barings' initial plan for the property.
The 37,500 m2 warehouse, located in a desirable logistics area near the A22 motorway, was built between early 2024 and May 2025, meeting its schedule and budget. It was rented out to a significant international logistics company even before construction finished, achieving a higher rent than initially expected.
The building also holds a LEED Gold certification for its environmental sustainability.
Colliers advised Barings on both the sale and the leasing of the property.
