The sale, part of a European value-add strategy, was completed with a state-owned entity as the buyer.

Andreas Norberg, managing director and head of Nordics at Barings Real Estate, commented: “These disposals underline the strong demand for high-quality, strategically located facilities that can meet the logistics needs of a wide range of users. In 2026, in addition to the logistics segment, we are also focusing heavily on residential investments (BTR/BTS) and development JVs in Sweden and Denmark, primarily with a strategy moving from value-add to core.”

Gunther Deutsch, managing director and head of European Transactions at Barings Real Estate, added: “For 2026, we plan to invest more than €2 bn on behalf of our capital partners in Europe, focusing on the residential, logistics and office sectors—from core to value-add—with the aim of investing in larger single transactions as well as European portfolios in our priority markets: the Nordics, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.”
