Blackstone has launched a new Nordic logistics investment platform, Norla, giving investors targeted access to one of Europe’s fastest‑growing real estate sectors. The Stockholm‑based platform will operate across Sweden, Denmark and Finland and is expected to become operational next year.

Norla will comprise more than 200 logistics assets, primarily last‑mile warehouses supporting the e‑commerce sector, with a combined footprint of over two million sq m. The platform will initially consist largely of assets already owned by Blackstone funds, though selected third‑party assets may also be included. According to a source familiar with the matter, the initial portfolio will be valued at around €3 billion.
James Seppala, head of real estate Europe at Blackstone, said investor appetite for more targeted exposure continues to grow. “As the sector has matured, we are seeing investors increasingly seek more granular exposure by geography and asset type.”
The launch underscores Blackstone’s long‑term conviction in Nordic logistics, a market characterised by strong e‑commerce penetration, resilient occupier demand and constrained supply of modern last‑mile facilities.
