This project will develop approximately 210,000 m2 of modern and sustainable logistics properties on a 40-hectare site strategically located on Highway 53/E4.

Link53 aims to be an efficient, sustainable, and future-proof logistics hub, offering opportunities for both large and small logistics companies. Both Bockasjö and Next Step Group bring extensive experience in large-scale land development, infrastructure, and logistics projects to this venture. The collaboration leverages Next Step Group's urban development expertise and Bockasjö's specialised knowledge in logistics properties, ensuring strong execution and rapid progress.

The project, owned 50% by each company, is expected to be developed over 6-8 years. Link53 is the second collaboration for the Link Group, a platform for strategic logistics locations in Sweden, with the first being Link40 in Härryda, near Gothenburg, which developed 250,000 m2 of logistics properties.

Petter Hedihn, CEO of Bockasjö, said: “Link53’s strategic location, with proximity to the Mälaren region and important national roads, makes the area a logistics area with great potential. The detailed plan has been adopted, which enables rapid establishment for potential tenants. The combined knowledge and experience of Next Step Group and Bockasjö creates a dream team.”

Jacob Torell, CEO of Next Step Group, added: “We are very pleased about the collaboration with Bockasjö in Link53. Bockasjö is one of Sweden’s most experienced and successful players in the development and construction of modern logistics properties. By combining their execution power with Next Step Group’s experience of major land and urban development projects, we are creating a platform with very good conditions to develop one of the region’s most attractive logistics locations. Together, we can create values that are greater than what we could have achieved individually.”
