Residential real estate data provider Bonard has partnered with private equity firm Spire Capital Partners (SCP) to fuel its expansion.

Residential - Bonard
This strategic investment will allow Bonard to grow into new regions and residential real estate sectors, as well as improve its products, technology, and organisational structure.
With real estate investments in living sectors on the rise, Bonard is now better equipped to meet this increasing demand with the help of a financial investor. SCP will hold a minority stake, while Bonard's founder and team will retain management control.
Student housing and other living sectors are becoming increasingly appealing to institutional investors due to their long-term growth potential, driven by strong underlying trends. For example, the number of students in Europe far outweighs the available purpose-built student accommodation. Industry rankings consistently place PBSA, co-living, build-to-rent, multifamily, and senior living among the top investment classes for potential and growth.
Bonard has a long history of providing data and expertise to investors worldwide. The new capital will enable the company to better serve its clients in the living sectors. This partnership marks SCP's first international investment, aligning with its goal of building a diverse portfolio of scalable and leading businesses.
Samuel Vetrak, CEO & founder of Bonard, stated: "Qualified professional data is increasingly more important in the investment world, more so for growing investment interest in living sectors. We consider it a good moment to become empowered. We were aiming for a minority financial partner with strategic capital to scale up and enhance. We received several offers and chose SCP and their team. We are glad to be joined by such a strong investment group with a great track record of building value."
Arkadiusz Podziewski, partner at SCP, commented: "Bonard has an exceptional team and leadership position in a growing global sector. The living sector, and PBSA in particular, are poised for accelerated growth, and Bonard has a great product and expertise to serve the growing universe of investors, developers, operators and lenders in this space. It fits our scale-up investment strategy to support strong teams with exceptional products in attractive markets.”
Ćukasz Wierdak, partner at SCP, added: “Sector specialists, such as Bonard, are in sustained investment demand, as their capabilities, proven execution and depth of sector penetration are increasingly sought after by strategic stakeholders looking to strengthen their market positioning.”
Bonard plans to augment its product by including further rented residential asset classes.
Bonard was advised by KPMG and Highgate, while Spire Capital Partners advisors included Hillbridges and Mazars.
