These off-market acquisitions, totalling about 50,000 m2, significantly expand their Voyage portfolio and boost their presence in the crucial Dutch logistics market.
The facilities are ideally located near Schiphol Airport and Royal FloraHolland, Europe's largest flower auction, making them perfect for flower and plant distribution. Their proximity to major highways (A4 and A9) also ensures efficient international distribution for businesses in this sector.
Both properties have been recently renovated and expanded, featuring solar power systems that lower tenant costs and improve energy efficiency. With these additions, the Voyage portfolio now spans over 300,000 m2 across Europe, with the Netherlands representing approximately 25% of that total.
Jean-Marie Caillon, chief executive of Bowery Europe, stated: "These acquisitions represent an important milestone in the growth of our Voyage portfolio and reflect our ability to source high-quality, off-market opportunities in core European logistics markets. Aalsmeer is a strategically significant location, benefiting from proximity to critical transport infrastructure and serving specialised distribution requirements in the flower and plant sector. Both assets offer strong ESG fundamentals, supported by existing renewable energy installations that reduce operational carbon intensity and provide long-term cost savings for our tenants. We are pleased to expand our presence in the Netherlands, a market characterised by resilient fundamentals and continued demand for well-located logistics assets."
