Branicks Group appoints new Supervisory Board Chairman
Gerhard Schmidt has been elected as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board for German real estate listed specialist Branicks Group.

His appointment follows the resignation of Angela Geerling from the Supervisory Board due to personal reasons.
On behalf of both the Supervisory and Management Boards, Schmidt extended gratitude to Geerling for her contributions to Branicks Group.
Professor Schmidt, a lawyer, tax advisor, and partner at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, has served as a full member of Branicks Group's Supervisory Board since 2002, most recently contributing to the Audit Committee. He also chairs the Supervisory Board of VIB Vermögen.
Branicks Group is a leading German listed specialist for office and logistics real estate as well as renewable assets. As of June 30, 2025, it managed properties with a market value of €11.1 bn.
