Cushman & Wakefield has announced that Antoine Brusselmans will take over from Marc-Antoine Buysschaert as the new head of Belgium & Luxembourg, effective 1 July 2026.

Antoine Brusselmans
Brusselmans, who joined the firm in 1994, has led the Office Agency in Belgium since 2005 and was appointed chairman of Belgium & Luxembourg in 2021. He has played a crucial role in the company's success in both countries and is recognised as a leading office advisor in the Benelux region, having completed significant transactions for major clients. He will continue his client work in addition to his new leadership role.
Buysschaert, who has been with Cushman & Wakefield for 15 years and has led the Belgium & Luxembourg operations for the past five, will work with Brusselmans to ensure a seamless transition. Buysschaert will depart the firm at the end of June to establish a new real estate investment fund.
Antoine Brusselmans, incoming head of Belgium & Luxembourg, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “It is a great honour to be appointed to lead this extremely talented team. I take this new responsibility with enthusiasm, and above all, in the spirit of serving our clients and delivering exceptional outcomes for them. I’m excited by the opportunities ahead for us and our clients, and I am certain that together we will achieve great things.”
Matthew Bouw, chief executive, APAC & EMEA at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Antoine has a track record of leading profitable, high-performing teams, winning major instructions and delivering standout transactions. His market profile, deep experience and relentless focus on our clients make him a huge asset for them, our colleagues and our organisation. I would also like to acknowledge Marc-Antoine, as he prepares to hand over the reins of a business in great shape financially and culturally, for outstanding work throughout his 15 years at Cushman & Wakefield. I have enjoyed working with him and wish him well for the rest of his time with us and his new venture.”
In related news, Vincent Vanderstraeten will be taking over from Marc-Antoine Buysschaert as the head of Capital Markets Office. Vanderstraeten, who has seven years of experience in the department, will now be responsible for its strategic direction.
