C&W appoints Matthew Bouw as CEO of APAC and EMEA

Cushman & Wakefield appointed Matthew Bouw as chief executive of both APAC and EMEA, effective 1 May 2025. 

Bouw, currently CEO of APAC, will oversee a combined operating model for the two regions, enhancing global connectivity and client service. 
He brings extensive experience to his new role, having led and grown the APAC region as CEO since 2017. During his 13-year tenure at C&W, he also held key global executive positions in Chicago, including chief administrative officer and chief HR & Strategy officer. He played a significant role in the firm's 2014-15 merger and the 2011 DTZ acquisition. 
Before joining C&W, Bouw worked in various industries for large global companies like PwC, Aviva, Orica, Leighton, and UGL. He will relocate to London.
Current EMEA CEO Colin Wilson will step down and transition to an advisory role after 29 years with the company.
The unified APAC and EMEA business, operating under a single strategy, will benefit from optimized investment allocation, a streamlined approach to data, technology, and transformation, better talent utilization across regions, and the ability to share best practices and enhance sales effectiveness.
