Cain secures 15-year lease at Grade-A logistics development

Cain has signed a new 15‑year lease with an industrial manufacturing occupier at its Grade‑A logistics development in Ketsch, delivered in partnership with NVELOP.

The agreement covers one of the scheme’s two warehouse units, bringing total space let to 11,700 sq m and taking the development to approximately 50% leased.

The scheme provides 25,000 sq m of DGNB Platinum‑certified logistics space across two units on a 40,000 sq m site. Located in the Rhine‑Neckar region between Frankfurt and Stuttgart, the development benefits from strong multimodal connectivity.

Ketsch is one of four speculative logistics developments Cain is delivering in Germany. The latest addition, an 86,000 sq m site in Landau, also in the Rhine‑Neckar region, was acquired with NVELOP last year. Together, these projects form part of Cain’s European logistics platform, valued at over €1.5 billion.

Jon Strang, Managing Director and Head of Industrial & Net Lease at Cain, said the leasing reflects continued occupier demand for best‑in‑class, future‑proof logistics space in the Rhine‑Neckar region. He noted that Cain’s approach focuses on delivering facilities that respond directly to occupier requirements, combining high‑quality space with strong connectivity.

Artie Loakim, CEO and Co‑Founder of NVELOP, said securing a high‑calibre occupier on a 15‑year lease demonstrates the quality of the Ketsch development and the strength of demand in the region. He added that the team looks forward to leasing the remaining space and fully stabilising the project.
