Swedish property company Catena has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to potentially acquire a portfolio of 20 logistics properties across Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, valued at SEK 9 bn (€779 mln).

Catena
This intended acquisition would add approximately 600,000 m2 of leasable area to Catena's portfolio. The breakdown by country is 72% in Sweden, 25% in Finland, and 3% in Denmark. The portfolio consists of modern, high-quality properties located in prime logistics areas, boasting well-known tenants and an average unexpired lease term of about 11 years.
Catena plans to finance this acquisition through existing liquidity and new debt from established funding sources.
The goal is to finalise the acquisition agreement by the second half of February 2026, following a standard due diligence process. The closing is anticipated for 1 April 2026. Catena notes that an LOI does not guarantee a definitive agreement.
Jörgen Eriksson, CEO at Catena, said: “Catena is a long-term logistics property company with growth ambitions. We always see great potential to add more high-quality properties to our portfolio and with this opportunity for acquisition, we also see an excellent way to expand in Finland, which is an interesting new market for us.”
