Centralis Immobilien has acquired two existing properties directly adjacent to Cologne Central Station, continuing its strategy of scaling a national portfolio of urban hospitality assets through targeted transformation.

The assets, Breslauer Platz 2 and Domstrasse 10 were purchased from a French insurance company and will be comprehensively refurbished and repositioned as modern serviced apartments totalling 233 units.
The building at Breslauer Platz 2, formerly operated as a Wyndham hotel, sits directly opposite Cologne Central Station. Centralis plans to convert the property into 134 serviced apartments alongside ground‑floor food and beverage space, with a planned lettable area of around 4,900 sq m. Nearby, the former TRYP Köln City Centre hotel at Domstrasse 10 will be redeveloped into 99 serviced apartments with 15 underground parking spaces, comprising approximately 2,700 sq m of lettable area.
Centralis has secured Bob W as long‑term operator for both assets. The tech‑ and AI‑enabled hospitality brand will target business and leisure travellers, adding Cologne to its growing DACH‑region expansion. apoprojekt has been appointed as Design & Build contractor, continuing its established partnership with Centralis on complex urban revitalisation projects.
