Developer Chancerygate and specialist investor Bridges Fund Management have finished building a £35 mln (€41 mln), 12,263 m2 sustainable urban logistics and trade park in Sighthill, Edinburgh.

Capital Park
The Capital Park development features 18 high-quality units ranging from 257 m2 to 1,580 m2 National builders' merchant Travis Perkins, workplace technology provider Agilico, and mobile phones and accessories wholesaler Zavi Tech are already tenants.
Currently, 50% of Capital Park's space is either leased or under offer, with three more units under offer. The remaining three units, which can be combined, are available for lease and range from 257 m2t to 1,207 m2.
Located about five miles from Edinburgh city centre, Capital Park is near major roadways like the A720 and M8, and neighbors businesses such as Evans Halshaw, Tool Station, and the Burton Biscuit Company.
The units include sustainable features like electric vehicle charging points and solar panels for green energy. High-performance insulation and cladding help reduce carbon emissions, contributing to the development's EPC A rating and BREEAM Very Good certification.
Chancerygate development manager, Andy Farrer, said: “We have embraced the latest technologies to achieve high quality, sustainable buildings, located strategically to benefit occupiers who demand the best of both. We are very pleased to be 50 per cent let or under offer and we look forward to announcing other businesses keen to take advantage of all that Capital Park has to offer.”
Henry Pepper, partner at Bridges, added “We're very proud to have completed this development at Capital Park, which we believe will make a really positive contribution to the local economy in Edinburgh. Its pre-letting success highlights the strong appetite for high-quality, highly sustainable facilities that help businesses reduce their operating costs while also achieving their own environmental goals.”
Bridges and Chancerygate are currently collaborating on nine sustainable urban logistics projects across the UK and Ireland, from Edinburgh to Tolworth in southeast London, and including a project in Dublin.
