Chris Bennett new C&W head of London Offices Capital Markets

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Chris Bennett, a seasoned professional with a background in both lending and capital markets, as head of London Offices Capital Markets.

Bennett, currently head of London Branch and managing director at DekaBank has overseen significant London office transactions. 
His extensive experience in Central London includes advising a diverse clientele on acquisitions and refinancing deals valued between £50 mln (€58 mln) and £1 bn (€1.1 bn) across key areas like the City of London, Canary Wharf, King's Cross, and Mayfair. 
Before DekaBank, he served as VP in Citigroup's European CMBS team. Bennett is a chartered surveyor, a fellow of the RICS, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council Europe since 2020, including a term as Chair in 2022.
He will join Cushman & Wakefield in early 2026, succeeding Martin Lay, who will become chairman.
