In Sweden, Cibus acquired a Willys Hemma store in Enköping, valued at €2.9 mln, as well as a Willys store in Ludvika for €9.7 mln. Both properties are anchored by Axfood and will be financed with approximately a 50% loan-to-value from a local bank.
In Denmark, Cibus signed an agreement to acquire a portfolio of seven properties for €22.3 mln. These properties, six on Zealand and one on Jutland, are fully leased to major daily-goods chains like Salling Group, Coop Denmark, and Rema 1000, with a weighted average lease length of 7.5 years. Acquired from private investors through a share deal, these properties will be financed similarly to the Swedish acquisitions.
Finally, in Belgium, Cibus signed the acquisition of a Proxy Delhaize grocery store in Meerhout, Antwerp Province, for €1.6 mln. This store is fully leased to Ahold Delhaize with nine years remaining on the lease, and the acquisition will be financed with a local bank loan covering approximately 50% of its value.
Most of these asset deals are anticipated to close in September 2025.
Christian Fredrixon, CEO of Cibus Nordic Real Estate, commented: "Cibus continues its expansion with the 'Converting Food into Yield' strategy. During July, we have now published six acquisitions of 16 properties in four countries for EUR 98 million in total. We continue to execute on our pipeline of accretive acquisition opportunities and are actively evaluating new markets in Mainland Europe."
