Pan-European real estate investor and asset manager Mark has appointed Claire Haddon as the new head of Asset Management for its urban logistics platform, Crossbay.

Claire Haddon
Haddon brings extensive experience to Crossbay, having previously served as head of Asset Management at Oxenwood Real Estate, where she managed a diverse pan-European portfolio of approximately 181,000 m2.
Before that, she was a Director at Ciel Capital, specialising in hotel asset and investment management. Her career also includes over six years at M7 Real Estate, where she executed over €1 bn in industrial real estate transactions across major European markets as an Acquisitions and Investment manager.
Haddon began her career as a valuation surveyor at Colliers, with a secondment to HSBC's Real Estate team. Her expertise encompasses acquisitions, asset and investment management, and debt structuring.
This appointment follows other recent strategic hires at Mark, including Rodney Hunt as UK VP at Crossbay and Nnes Ajukwu as a senior associate in Mark Capital Management's Client Solutions team.
Crossbay currently oversees an 857,000 m2 pan-European portfolio of urban distribution centres, primarily single-user facilities located in major gateway cities. Since 2018, Mark's Crossbay strategy has deployed over €2 bn and managed 1.5 million m2 of European urban logistics assets for its global investor base.
Marco Riva, Crossbay CEO, said: "Crossbay's disciplined focus on urban distribution centres, a naturally fragmented and granular asset class, requires a best-in-class asset management function to successfully oversee a scaling portfolio. Hiring the right talent, while continuing to leverage our proprietary insights and data, is key to that mission. We look forward to working closely with Claire as we continue to grow our presence across core European markets."
Claire Haddon, head of Asset Management at Crossbay, said: "Crossbay has assembled a high-performing team and an excellent track record. I look forward to building on the strategy's success to date, working closely in partnership with our network of in-country specialists that cover the entire asset lifecycle and strive to deliver value for our occupiers and investors each day."
