The focus will be on urban regeneration and carbon-neutral buildings, while expanding into new asset classes like residential, logistics, and data centres to address market gaps.
At the same time, Coima aims to strengthen its leading position in urban mixed-use projects and offices by concentrating on prime assets in high-demand, resilient locations.
This diversification will include exploring the first pan-European investments and forming specialized partnerships.
Coima projects managing up to €15 bn in assets, fuelled by raising €3.3 bn in new capital.
Manfredi Catella, founder and CEO of Coima, commented: “The main programmatic funds focus on urban redevelopment, dedicated credit for energy transition, and forestation with the possibility of also initiating geographic diversification at the European level. The institutional investors that we are meeting regularly in Asia, North America, the Middle East and Europe recognize political stability as a determining factor confirming an increase in allocation to our country that together with domestic, institutional and private capital, can decisively fuel the Italian transition.”
Coima operates through several subsidiaries: Coima Sgr manages over €10 bn in real estate investment funds; Coima REM manages over 5 million m2 of property; and Coima HT focuses on digitalizing physical spaces.
