Colliers appoints Laura Hernando as Iberia CEO

Colliers has appointed Laura Hernando as CEO for Iberia, effective in the second quarter of 2026.

She will succeed Mikel Echavarren, who will transition to chairman for the Iberian region and remain on Colliers' EMEA Senior Leadership Team. 
Hernando will also continue her role as managing director of Hotels for Colliers Spain.
With over two decades of experience in the Iberian market, Hernando has been instrumental in major hotel transactions, including single assets, portfolios, corporate deals, and financial restructurings. 
She joined Colliers in 2018 through the acquisition of IREA and will now lead the company's next phase of growth in the region, working closely with Echavarren.
