Logistics and industrial real estate developer CTP has expanded its partnership with Leroy Merlin Romania.

Leroy Merlin
The home improvement retailer will grow its regional distribution centre at CTPark Bucharest West to 48,500 m2.
This new, custom-built facility, located within Europe's largest industrial park, is currently under construction and scheduled for handover in February 2027. The project strengthens CTPark Bucharest West's role as a vital logistics hub in Romania and Central and Eastern Europe.
Leroy Merlin chose CTP for its proven ability to deliver complex, customised solutions, emphasising flexible building configurations, fast delivery, and full space customisation. CTPark Bucharest West's strategic location, infrastructure, and amenities, including direct access to the A1 motorway, were key factors in the decision.
The facility will feature advanced technical elements for efficiency and safety, such as multiple loading chambers, a dedicated elevated walkway for pedestrian safety, and enhanced fire protection systems. CTPark Bucharest West's location near Bucharest's populated areas and public transport links ensures excellent workforce access and last-mile logistics capabilities, complemented by onsite amenities like a canteen, medical facilities, and the Clubhaus community centre.
Ronald Binkofski, MD for Romania at CTP, said: “This agreement reflects our ability to truly adapt to our clients’ needs and to deliver solutions that go beyond standard industrial space. We worked closely with Leroy Merlin to shape a project that supports both their current operations and future growth, combining flexibility, efficiency and long-term scalability. CTPark Bucharest West continues to prove itself as a strategic location for companies looking to optimise their supply chains and expand in Romania.”
IonuČ› Vasile, head of Supply Chain Leroy Merlin Romania, commented: “Meeting our customers’ needs requires dependable, high-quality logistics infrastructure that supports efficient and flexible operations. This partnership will help us further optimise our logistics and fulfilment capabilities, providing the capacity and adaptability needed to maintain strong service standards and respond effectively to changing market demands.”
