Deka Immobilien sells five-star Mallorca hotel to Dubai holding

Deka Immobilien has announced the sale of the luxurious Jumeirah Port Sóller Hotel & Spa in Mallorca.

Dubai Holding purchased the property from Deka Immobilien's WestInvest InterSelect open-ended real estate fund. 
The terms of the sale, including the purchase price, have not been disclosed.
Acquired by Deka Immobilien in 2007, the property is located on Mallorca's northwest coast and features a 121-room hotel (including 15 suites), 58 parking spaces, and an adjacent undeveloped plot suitable for recreation, a nature reserve, or limited agricultural use. The five-star hotel, which holds LEED Platinum certification, is subject to a long-term lease with Jumeirah Port Soller Mallorca.
Originally a development project in 2007, the property was finished and then rented out to Jumeirah Port Soller Mallorca. Its expansion occurred in late 2015 with the addition of a neighbouring undeveloped parcel of land. The resort, encompassing nine buildings, now boasts 21,189 m2 of usable space.
According to Deka Immobilien, this sale is part of its active portfolio management strategy, capitalising on the high demand for hotel properties in Mallorca to achieve a significant profit for its investors.
