UK-focused investor, asset and development manager Delancey has brought on Emma Murray as its new director, Capital Strategies.

Emma Murray
In her new capacity, Murray will be responsible for Delancey's full range of capital strategies, encompassing both debt and equity. She will support existing mandates, explore new opportunities, and manage managed accounts (SMAs) separately. Her primary focus will be on business development, strengthening Delancey's relationships with institutional clients. Her appointment aligns with Delancey's ongoing expansion of its investment and capital strategy activities across the entire real estate sector.
Murray comes to Delancey from Fiera Real Estate, where she held the position of director of Business Development and Capital Raising since 2015. During her time there, she was instrumental in raising £2.1 bn (€2.42 bn) for both UK-specific and pan-European strategies, while managing relationships with institutional investors such as pension funds, insurers, sovereign wealth funds, and consultants.
This appointment follows Lesley Davison's return to Delancey in March as managing director of Capital Markets. Davison previously spent 14 years with the firm, overseeing all third-party financing for Delancey and its joint venture investments.
Emma Murray, director, Capital Strategies at Delancey, said: “With an expanding real estate equity and credit platform, and full lifecycle capabilities, Delancey has rightly built an outstanding reputation as a UK specialist and partner of choice for domestic and global institutional capital. I’m thrilled to be joining at such an exciting time for the business, helping grow an already world-class client base.”
Stafford Lancaster, CEO of Delancey, said: “Emma’s experience and skill in developing and shaping fund strategies will be invaluable as we aim to build on our recent momentum and establish ourselves as a ‘one-stop shop’ for global investors wanting to access opportunities across UK real estate.”
