Deutsche Konsum Real Estate announces leadership transition

Effective 1 July 2026, Daniel Löhken, currently the chairman of the Supervisory Board for German retail property investor Deutsche Konsum Real Estate, will transition to the role of CEO for a three-year term.

This move is part of a planned succession, as the current CEO, Kyrill Turchaninov, is set to step down on 31 July 2026.

Consequently, Löhken will resign from the Supervisory Board on 30 June 2026.

Following this change, Kai Gregor Klinger, a current member of the Supervisory Board, will be appointed as the new chairman of the Supervisory Board, also effective 1 July 2026.

Sebastian Wasser will retain his position as deputy chairman of the Supervisory Board.

Deutsche Konsum Real Estate invests in German retail properties in established micro locations away from top cities.

Its portfolio consists of 148 properties with a total value of €773 mln.
