DWS has acquired Mekanikken, a residential property in Brøndby, roughly 10 kilometres outside of Copenhagen.

Mekanikken
The property, acquired from a joint venture between Tristan Capital Partners and Keystone Investment Management, was completed in 2022 and includes 215 apartments and townhouses.
Mekanikken has strong ESG credentials, including a gold certification from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). The property also features rooftop solar panels and an electric car charging area.
Ulrich Steinmetz, head of Real Estate Transactions, Europe at DWS, said: “We believe that increased demand from tenants and rising rents in central Copenhagen have made surrounding areas such as Brøndby increasingly attractive places to live. This is complemented by family-friendly environments, vibrant communities and excellent connections to the city centre. This acquisition demonstrates DWS’s continued commitment to expanding its portfolio of high-quality, sustainable properties in strategic locations across Europe.”
CBRE and Accura represented the sellers in the transaction.
