German real estate company ECE Work & Live is entering the Polish residential market through a new partnership with local developer GH Development.

This joint venture will focus on developing new housing projects in Poland, aligning with ECE Work & Live's strategy to invest in growing European cities with experienced local partners.
Their first venture involves ECE Work & Live acquiring a majority stake in three development projects in Warsaw, totalling over 550 residential units in urban locations of Warsaw.
GH Development will hold a minority stake and manage the local development and project management aspects.
Jan-Hendrik Walloch, Managing Director Investment at ECE Work & Live, said: “This joint venture is another building block in our investment and growth strategy in European residential developments. With its exceptional economic development over the last years and strong outlook, Poland offers an attractive environment for residential build-to-sell projects, which we aim to leverage together with our local partner GH Development.”
This new joint venture marks ECE Work & Live's entry into the Polish residential market, following their recent investments in Southern European cities like Barcelona and Rome.
For the establishment of this joint venture, ECE Work & Live received consultation from Colliers, CMS Cameron McKenna, Gleeds Polska, and Thedy & Partners.
