European Green Logistics Space (EGLS), a company that develops, invests in, and manages sustainable logistics properties across Europe, is growing its UK team by appointing Mike Forster as head of Development.

Forster brings over 35 years of experience in industrial and commercial real estate to EGLS, joining from Rockleaze Developments, the industrial and logistics development company he founded. Previously, he held leadership positions at Trammell Crow Company, P3 Logistics Parks, and iSec UK.
In his new role as managing director, Development UK at EGLS, Forster will oversee all UK development activities. His primary focus will be on developing new, sustainable logistics facilities and upgrading existing properties to meet top-tier environmental standards. Forster's appointment is part of EGLS's ongoing expansion of its UK team, working alongside Simon Stacey, European head of Asset Management and managing director, UK, as EGLS increases its development pipeline and operational expertise.
The EGLS UK team also includes Amos Chia, the CIO based in London, senior associate Edgar Simmons, associate Philip Ho, senior analyst Tam Nguyen, and analyst Toby Last.
