Enterprise Land hires Paul Rutte to lead expansion into the Netherlands,

UK-based real estate investor Enterprise Land, founded by Andrew Thornton, has hired Paul Rutte to lead its expansion into the Netherlands, marking continued European growth.

Rutte, a seasoned development expert with experience in major Dutch and international projects, will initially focus on launching Casa, Enterprise Land's new student housing platform co-founded with Capital Assured. 
Casa aims to redefine student living across Europe, starting with developments in six key countries, namely Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, France and the Netherlands, representing an initial €500 mln investment. 
Rutte will operate from Enterprise Land's new Amsterdam office, designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects, the same firm designing the Casa accommodations. 
Rutte's extensive background includes significant roles at Schiphol Airport, Dutch Railways, and various supervisory boards overseeing large real estate portfolios, including MaasWonen, de Zorgboog, de Alliantie, Chemelot Research Facilities, and the University of Utrecht.

Enterprise Land will initially concentrate on developing and investing in student housing, data centres, and logistics—sectors experiencing strong growth and offering attractive returns in the mid-teens.
