European Green Logistics Space (EGLS), led by industry expert Ian Worboys, has appointed Maciej Krzyżak as director of Development & Construction for Poland.

This move reinforces EGLS's commitment to expanding its team in Poland and delivering sustainable, high-quality logistics facilities.
In his new role, Krzyżak will oversee all development and construction projects in Poland, aligning with EGLS's goal of creating future-proof logistics spaces that meet top-tier sustainability and operational benchmarks.
He joins Marta Gorońska-Wiercioch, appointed in March as director of Investment & Development, Poland, to drive EGLS's activities in the Polish market.
Krzyżak brings over 15 years of experience in logistics and industrial development to EGLS. He previously served as development director at Marcjanik Holding, a specialist in renewable energy and climate tech, and at logistics developer 7R, where he managed projects exceeding 1 million sq ft. His prior experience also includes senior positions at CTP, Segro, and Skanska.
Mario Sander, managing director of Germany, Austria & Poland at EGLS, said: “We are delighted to welcome Maciej to the team. His deep technical expertise, regional knowledge, and sustainability credentials make him an ideal fit for EGLS as we expand our footprint in Poland. He will play a pivotal role in delivering our pipeline of green logistics developments”.
