Omega Poole, head of Capital Markets at Firma Partners
This appointment is a key part of Firma's expansion strategy, aiming to scale its lending platform and diversify its funding sources.
Poole brings over 22 years of experience in real estate, encompassing fund management, capital raising, and legal expertise. She specializes in working with private capital for real estate investments and financing, particularly in the hospitality sector and residential-focused (bed-led) strategies across the UK and Europe. Her new responsibilities will involve seeking out new investment partners and creating tailored financing approaches to facilitate the development of medium to large residential projects.
Prior to joining Firma Partners, Omega Poole held significant roles at LendInvest, including head of Funds Management (where she created new fund strategies and fostered investor relationships for co-investment in alternative, residential, and credit strategies) and head of Capital Raising (where she launched a successful credit fund in 2022). Her experience also includes serving as partner and head of Real Estate Debt Advisory at Mishcon de Reya, following a stint at Brown Rudnick, and holding commercial positions at CBRE UK, a property developer, and a bank. She began her career as a corporate tax lawyer at Herbert Smith.
Victor Librae, chief executive of Firma Partners, said: “We are delighted to welcome Omega to the team. She brings a wealth of experience working with both private capital and institutional investors funding real estate finance transactions, making her uniquely suited to this strategic role as we look to expand our investor base. She will play a crucial part in setting up Firma Markets, an exciting chapter in our growth story.”
Omega Poole, head of Capital Markets at Firma Partners, added: “I am thrilled to be joining Firma Partners at such a pivotal time in its evolution. The team has built a dynamic and highly respected lending platform with a clear focus on supporting ambitious developers and investors. I look forward to working with our capital partners to scale the business and deliver innovative funding solutions for our clients, providing the necessary fuel for transformative real estate projects across the UK.”
The appointment of Poole comes after several significant transactions by Firma Partners, including financing the luxury redevelopment of 90 Sloane Avenue (Tribeca Holdings) and refinancing the Clarendon Works office scheme in Watford (Regal).
