The off-market deal includes a 30,000 m2 former industrial facility, bringing the firm's total properties under management to nine.
The site offers direct access to primary national motorways, making it a prime location for industrial and logistics operations.
Formerly a printing plant, the property will undergo significant modernisation to transition into a logistics hub.
In line with Garbe’s expanded investment strategy, the redevelopment will prioritise high environmental standards, focusing on energy and space efficiency to minimise the project's ecological footprint.
Michael Vidamant, managing director of Garbe Industrial Real Estate France, stated: “The acquisition is in line with the new revitalisation strategy of Garbe Industrial in France. It underscores our ambition to transform industrial legacy sites into assets of high environmental standards that anticipate the future requirements of logistics and industrial occupiers.”
This acquisition was made possible with the support of the Lasaygues notary office and the engineering firm Ecor Ingénierie.
This investment marks the latest step in Garbe Industrial’s sustained growth across France. It comes shortly after the firm finalised a state-of-the-art logistics hub in Pléchâtel, located near Rennes.
That development occupies a 57,500 m2 site within the Rennes-Nantes corridor, providing roughly 25,800 m2 of premium logistics and office space. Positioned for easy access to regional economic hubs, the project is on track to achieve a BREEAM “Excellent” rating, reflecting the company's commitment to high sustainability standards.
