This funding will support Green Stone's strategy to improve its real estate portfolio and optimise the finances of its Stone 7 division, which manages the Porta Maggiore Cube office complex in Rome.
Porta Maggiore Cube is a redeveloped office complex located at Via Casilina 1/3, consisting of four buildings spanning over 10,000 m2 and connected by a large internal garden.
The complex is an example of sustainable urban regeneration, boasting Class A energy certification and BREEAM In-Use "Very Good" certification for its environmental performance, occupant well-being, and reduced environmental impact.
The property is fully leased to five tenants from the transportation, financial, and serviced office sectors.
Investors in Green Stone SICAF include Veld Capital, Cannonball SICAV plc, and the SICAF's promoters.
Domenico Cefaly, CEO of Green Stone SICAF, stated: "The signing of this financing with Bayerische Landesbank represents an important recognition of the quality of our portfolio and the credibility of our investment model. At the same time, the ability to attract financial partners of international standing confirms the solidity of the assets we manage and allows us to continue our growth path while maintaining a prudent approach geared towards creating sustainable long-term value."
Green Stone was advised on the transaction by Legance.
