Real estate investor Greykite is expanding its multi-let industrial platform Lagerhome in the UK in partnership with European industrial platform operator Martley Capital.

Lagerhome
The partnership's first acquisition is an industrial estate in Milton Keynes, a key industrial hub in the UK. This acquisition allows for asset management improvements and increased rental income, aligning with the fund's strategy of targeting properties in markets with high demand, limited supply, and strong growth potential.
This acquisition follows Lagerhome's recent launch in Sweden, marked by the acquisition of a 94,000 m2 portfolio. It marks a significant step in its expansion across its three target markets for multi-let industrial: the UK, Sweden, and Germany.
Lagerhome aims to invest €1 bn in the next two years, focusing on high-quality assets in supply-constrained markets.
Michael Abel, founder and CEO of Greykite, commented: “This partnership emphasises our commitment to working with best-in-class, local operators to deliver scalable industrial platforms. Martley’s experience in the industrial sector makes them an ideal partner to support the next phase of Lagerhome’s growth. We have strong conviction in the UK industrial sector, where structural undersupply, resilient tenant demand, and supportive long-term fundamentals, coupled with ongoing market dislocation, continues to present compelling investment opportunities.”
Richard Croft, CEO of Martley Capital added: “We are very excited to be working with Greykite to help build the Lagerhome platform across the UK and other jurisdictions in Western Europe. The Greykite team shares our conviction in the sector, and we believe that this is a market-leading partnership that will create a leading industrial investor over the next 18 to 24 months”.
This acquisition builds upon Greykite's growing industrial portfolio across Western Europe, following the company and its fund's launch in March 2024. Greykite focuses on real estate and corporate investments in various asset classes with strong fundamentals within specific European markets.
