Greystar strengthens Paris presence with Courbevoie acquisition

Global renting housing company Greystar has acquired a 257-unit residential building in Courbevoie, expanding its "Canvas" brand for students and young professionals in France.

Strategically located west of Paris, near La Défense, the property offers excellent transport links, with Bécon-les-Bruyères station providing quick access to La Défense and Saint-Lazare.
Designed specifically for young professionals, the residence will feature high-quality studios and apartments, averaging 25m², with a third including private balconies. Residents will also enjoy over 650m² of shared amenities, such as a landscaped patio, fitness centRE, lounge-club, and a modern coworking space. A panoramic rooftop with views of Paris and the Eiffel Tower will enhance the living experience.
This project, developed by Adim Paris Ile-de-France (a VINCI Construction subsidiary) and Mirabeau Asset Management, and designed by DGM Architects, transforms a former office building into a modern residential space. Greystar's operational teams will manage the property, ensuring a blend of modernity, comfort, and community. The opening of the Courbevoie residence is scheduled for 2028.

This latest deal further solidifies Greystar's position in the French market, bringing its owned apartment count to over 1,600 and its third-party managed portfolio to nearly 3,000, underscoring the significant growth of its residential holdings.
Since its inception in 2021, Greystar's "Canvas" brand has rapidly expanded, now offering almost 10,000 beds across the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, and the Netherlands.
