Polish real estate developer Globe Trade Centre (GTC) has appointed Botond Rencz as its new President of the Management Board, replacing MaĆgorzata Czaplicka.

Czaplicka resigned from her position on the same date, following the successful completion of the company's bond refinancing process, a critical initiative she led since May 2025.
The Supervisory Board expressed its gratitude for her significant contributions and effective leadership during this period, and she will continue to advise the Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Botond Rencz, who has been a member of GTC's Management Board and chief business sustainability officer since August 11, 2025, brings extensive international leadership experience from the financial and advisory sectors.
He spent nearly 30 years with Ernst & Young (EY) and Arthur Andersen, holding various senior roles, including CEO Hungary and regional leader for EY's operations in several Central European countries. Under his leadership, EY Hungary became a market leader, particularly in tax advisory.
His career also includes serving as tax leader and tax managing partner at EY Central Europe, and Chairman of the Tax Committee at AmCham, where he successfully championed the reduction of Hungary's corporate income tax rate. In 2024, he was CEO of Eu-Solar, a publicly listed green energy company.
