Guido Beddig joins Principal Asset Management as MD

Guido Beddig has joined Principal Asset Management as managing director, leading its European Asset Management Team.

In this role, he will be responsible for the strategic and operational development of Principal Asset Management's European real estate platform.
Reporting to Guillaume Masset (head of Transactions & Asset Management Europe), Beddig will oversee all asset management activities for the European portfolio. His responsibilities will include refining the regional strategy, managing performance to meet company goals and investor expectations, actively creating value within the portfolio, integrating sustainability, and fostering cross-country and cross-team collaboration to strengthen the European platform.
Beddig brings over 20 years of international experience in investment, asset, and property management. He has a proven track record of managing and strategically developing diverse real estate portfolios through various market cycles for institutional investors.
Before this appointment, Beddig was at Treureal Property Management, where he focused on institutional client business development and expanding the operational platform. 
He also held senior management roles at DIC, Kintyre, and Corestate, where he was instrumental in building high-performing asset management structures, organisational platform development, and implementing strategic growth and transformation projects.
