Hammerson CFO announces retirement

UK-listed REIT Hammerson has confirmed that CFO Himanshu Raja will retire from his role and step down as a director on 12 August 2026, following the release of the Company’s half-year results.

After five years with Hammerson and a 40-year career—including 15 years as CFO of listed companies across multiple industries—Himanshu has decided the time is right to retire.

He will remain with the Company for the next 12 months to support a smooth transition. Richard Shaw, currently deputy CFO, will assume the role of interim CFO once Himanshu steps down.

The Board has initiated a formal recruitment process to appoint a permanent successor, considering both internal and external candidates, with further updates to follow.
