Heimstaden has announced that Helge Krogsbøl will step down as co‑CEO of Heimstaden AB and Heimstaden Bostad AB, with Christian Fladeland appointed CEO of both companies.

Christian Fladeland
Fladeland currently serves as co‑CEO and chief investment officer and has been part of the management team since joining the business in 2019.
Heimstaden Bostard is a leading European residential real estate company with more than 155,000 homes across nine countries.
Chairperson Wenche Nistad said Krogsbøl has been central to Heimstaden Bostad’s development, combining efficiency with strong values, and expressed confidence that Fladeland and the management team will maintain the company’s position as a leading pan‑European residential platform.
Krogsbøl said he is confident Fladeland will continue driving improvement while preserving the culture that defines Heimstaden. Fladeland described Krogsbøl as a valued colleague and friend, noting that he leaves behind a strong organisation and capable leadership team.
As Heimstaden Bostad AB contracts Heimstaden AB, through Heimstaden Group Manager AB, as its investment and asset manager, the leadership change at Heimstaden AB applies correspondingly to Heimstaden Bostad AB.
Before joining Heimstaden, Fladeland was a partner at Danish commercial real estate advisory firm Sadolin & Albæk, now Colliers Denmark.
