Henderson Park appoints Liza Kunkel as global communications head

Global real estate investor Henderson Park has appointed Liza Kunkel as its new global head of Communications.

Operating from Charleston, South Carolina, Kunkel will be a part of the Capital Partnerships team and will be responsible for Henderson Park's worldwide communications and reputation management.
Kunkel brings over ten years of experience in establishing and managing successful global communications departments within intricate, investment-focused organisations. She is highly regarded for her strategic acumen, cooperative leadership, and capacity to enhance corporate reputation while advancing business objectives.
Previously, Kunkel was the global head of Communications at Greystar Real Estate Partners, where she developed the company's initial firm-wide communications function. Before her tenure at Greystar, she served as a director on Blackstone's Public Affairs team, focusing on external relations and media strategy for senior leadership in private equity and real estate.
In her new position at Henderson Park, Kunkel will concentrate on bolstering the firm's brand, investor communications, and market presence. She will also manage the firm's global press office, act as a company spokesperson, and cultivate relationships with essential media and external parties.
