Hiag sells €86m in non-core assets

Swiss real estate company Hiag has sold four sites and individual properties for CHF 83 mln (€86.2 mln) in the second half of 2025, exceeding their estimated value by over 20%.

These sales, located in Birsfelden, Diesbach, Ermatingen, Yverdon-les-Bains, Aathal, and Kleindöttingen, align with Hiag's strategy to focus on developing and enhancing its portfolio at strategically important locations. Further sales in St. Maurice and Aathal, totalling CHF 4 mln (€4.1 mln), are expected in early 2026. The proceeds from these disposals will be reinvested in acquiring commercial properties and funding high-yield development projects.
In addition to these sales, Hiag has secured Swiss Post as a new tenant for at least ten years in its Fahrwerk commercial building in Winterthur. Swiss Post will occupy approximately 3,000 m² on the ground floor starting in spring 2026, using the space for logistics and delivery operations.

Hiag's investment property portfolio is valued at around CHF 2.0 billion (€2.07 billion). The company focuses on residential, commercial, and industrial properties in economically strong Swiss regions.
