Global real estate investor Hines has significantly expanded its Nordic footprint with the acquisition of a strategic industrial and logistics portfolio in Sweden.

This marks Hines' second industrial acquisition in Sweden since entering the market in 2024, and the Hines European Core Fund's (HECF) third acquisition in the country since early 2025.
The portfolio, acquired from Blackstone and Mileway, comprises eight properties totaling approximately 70,500 m2 of lettable area. These assets are strategically located in prime logistics and industrial hubs within the Gothenburg and Stockholm regions, including Backa and Härryda in Gothenburg, and Sollentuna, Haninge, and Huddinge in Stockholm. Their proximity to critical infrastructure such as the Port of Gothenburg, Landvetter, and Arlanda airports positions them to meet strong tenant demand.
The properties boast a robust occupancy rate of 96% as of September 2025, driven by strong demand from tenants in the automotive, logistics, and telecommunications industries, which are known for resilient cash flows and long-term growth potential.
Simone Pozzato, fund manager for HECF, stated: "We believe that current pricing levels offer an attractive entry point to a market where we see very strong fundamentals. We are delighted to capitalize on these conditions."
Staffan Unge, head of the Nordics at Hines, added: “These assets not only strengthen our existing Nordic platform but also advance our long-term strategy of building scale in high-performing industrial locations across Europe, where we see strong potential for durable growth and value creation.”
Hines was advised by Lindahl, SEP, PwC, and Croisette/Knight Frank. Roschier acted as legal advisor to Blackstone and Mileway, while CBRE Sweden served as the transaction advisor to the seller.
